It's finally that time of year again, the 4 day weekend brought to us by the teacher convention. And so today I decided to take a much needed mental health day. I slept in and spent the day sketching and rewatching gossip girl and arrested development. I then continued to take a relaxing bath which ended with me eating almost all of my halloween chocolate. But the best part of my day was the James Blake concert that me and my friend simultaneously bought tickets to the night before. James Blake was honestly so amazing he exceeded all expectations. Most of his songs are mellow and actually quite sad so I wasn't sure what to expect at the concert but he found a way to incorporate some electro into it and gave the performance of a life time. While there, we also spotted Vanessa Hudgens (my fashion icon) on the second floor balcony and wow she was really jamming out to it. The opening act (nosaj thing) was also a huge success , and at the end I managed to snag a nosaj thing record for only $10. Bottom line is the concert was absolutely amazing and if you aren't familiar with James Blake I definitely suggest listening to him.

last day of summer
Unfortunately today was the last day of summer for me, and tomorrow I will start my junior year which I am dreading and totally not exited for. Anyways I took my friend to a beach in Greenwich Connecticut and it is honestly such a beautiful neighborhood that I would love to live in one day. So here are some pictured from today!

Massachusetts Misery
Forced to go on a trip to Massachusetts I expected the worst, however it didn't turn out as bad as I expected. I spent the morning at a flea market but discovered nothing. I spent the rest of the day shopping and scavenging through craft stores for new DIY projects and although I didn't buy a lot I did manage to grab a few unique pieces. I am now making my own 90's tatoo chokers, bracelets and rings (which is my current obsession) and will hopefully be selling them on my store ( www.shopsane.storenvy.com ) Later on for the Jewish New Year me and my family celebrated Rosh Ha'shana at a small Tai restaurant, which I was very pleased to here since I love Tai food. So here is what I wore:
